Erik, I started taking raw maca a couple of months ago and had unpleasant experience as well as my stomach didn’t react very well to it. I was advised to try taking gelatinized maca supplements, and I started taking gelatinized maca capsules( gelatinized form is much better digested). After a while I felt much better, and my stomach was fine and not aching any more. If you don’t like the taste, try taking maca in capsules, and you won’t feel any unpleasantness.
